What’s so versatile about warm blonde locks is that it can be so achievable. If you have very light, cool blonde hair right now, you can warm up your locks with a buttery boost of balayage. If you are a brunette looking for a warmer and lighter shade, try caramel blonde balayage/highlights.

Heatless hair hacks

Summer is the perfect season to go heat-free. By heat-free, we're talking heatless hairstyles. You probably feel best and the most confident when your hair is 'done' and whether you lack time or want to avoid hot tools, you can achieve a polished hairstyle with zero heat!

Our tips to achieve no-heat hair perfection:

1. Use a product made for air-styling.

R+Co's new Cool Wind pH Perfect Air-Dry Crème helps you achieve sleek styles without the heat. The hydrating cream controls, tames, and softens hair to ease the styling process, so that hair looks beautiful all day long.

The key ingredients include pH Balancing Melon + Apricot Extracts, moisturizing Mango Butter, and Coconut Water to provide softness and deeply hydrate your strands.
Using Cool Wind pH Perfect Air-Dry Crème is super simple: Work through towel-dried hair and style as desired. Then air dry.

2. Make the most of your natural texture.

Use your natural texture to your advantage to style your hair without heat. By applying R+Co's Cool Wind pH Perfect Air-Dry Crème, use your fingers to define your waves or curls with your fingers and then let your hair dry completely by air. Even better: take a trip outside and bask in the sun for a few minutes to accelerate the drying process.

3. Wrap, bun, or braid your hair for a smooth style.

Hair wrapping has been around for a long time for good reason. Its results are a smooth, polished look. An easier method with more of a fun twist with waves is to create 2-4 buns or braids after applying R+Co's Cool Wind pH Perfect Air-Dry Crème to wet or damp hair.  Once your hair has dried, take your hair down and brush into your desired shape and style.

How to achieve beach waves with a curling iron:

You may think of using hairspray as the last step in the styling process, but a key to getting your beach waves (or any type of curl) to last all day is to spray your hair before styling. It serves as a primer. Simply give your hair a light mist from roots to ends.
Then, curl small sections of hair away from your face. Pro-tip: Leave the ends of your hair out while curling.
Once your hair has completely cooled, add another light mist of hairspray. Then, brush through your curls to create the effect of loose waves.

How to achieve beach waves with braids:

Beach waves are super easy to achieve with braids! Simply wash your hair at night, coat your wet hair in styling creme, and section your hair in half. Create two braids and let your hair dry overnight. When you wake up, remove your hair ties and you'll have the most effortless looking waves.

Happy summer!
